This year I will reach the goal of teaching for 36 years!  I started teaching in the field of Special Education where I taught as a Resource Teacher, and also in a CDC classroom. I taught first grade for 15 years and second grade for 4 years. This year I started teaching fifth grade until I was offered the wonderful position I am in now. I love WCES!!

Hi! I am Allison Chancey.  I am the Special Education Inclusion Teacher for grades K-3. I have taught for 36 years. I started teaching in the area of Special Education and then moved to teach in first, second, and fifth grades. Now I have come full circle and have returned to an area of teaching that is very close to my heart.  I am married to the love of my life, Joe Chancey.  We have two wonderful sons, Bryan and Chris. We also have a wonderful daughter in law Adrienne.  When I am not teaching I love to travel, hang out with family and friends, read, and watch movies.  I am a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
