Subjects Taught

I have always wanted to be a music teacher! I had so many opportunities to teach even in middle and high school thanks to my elementary music teacher Ed Michaud! He let me come back and teach general music classes as well as band, choir, and orchestra! To fulfill my dreams of teaching I graduated from Lee University in May of 2013 with a degree in Music Education. I am double certified to teach music K-12 vocal as well as instrumental.

I was born and raised in New England! Growing up on Mount Desert Island in Maine next to Acadia National Park was full of things to do all year round from hiking and biking to snowshoeing and ice skating. All of that changed when God orchestrated for me to attend Lee University in the fall of 2009. I joined Campus Choir and loved every moment as we traveled to churches here and abroad.

I met my husband Nate during my final semester at Lee and we got married in the summer of 2014 in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Just before our two year wedding anniversary, our identical twin girls were born in May of 2016! Avenly and Acadia were born healthy and at 5lbs 9oz and 5lbs 14oz. They are beautiful and bring so much joy to my life!
