3rd Grade, 5th Grade

Bachelor's Degree:  Interdisciplinary Studies (K-6) Lee University; May 2008

This is my 9th year teaching.

Hi! My name is Mrs. Elsea, pronounced El-zee, (just in case you were wondering). I am married to my best friend, Justin Elsea. We currently have no children. I have taught at Waterville Community Elementary School since 2008. I previously taught third grade, and am now teaching fifth grade. I LOVE teaching fifth graders and my favorite subject to teach is math!

Some background information for you: I grew up in Dayton, TN and then moved to Cleveland when I attended Lee University from 2004-2008. I recently moved back to Dayton after getting married. I enjoy running (esp. on the Cleveland greenway), races, the outdoors, and spending time with family. My husband has made me an even bigger TN VOLS fan and we enjoy game days/parties together. I'm always up for new experiences and laughing often. :)

I am excited about a new school year and getting to know each student and family in my classroom. I believe every student has GREATNESS inside in them and something amazing to offer to the world. One of my goals this year is to help your child discover those talents and gifts. I believe it truly takes a village to raise a child, and parental involvement is HUGE! Thank you for your support in helping mold your child. We are going to have a GREAT year!
